Can you guess the taste?
Following our "What's that sound?" mat-time today, we thought we'd try talking about two more senses; smell and taste. We spoke about little spots on our tongue, taste buds, and how smell and taste can be connected. We wanted to have the children discover some new/different tastes and we would smell them to see if they smelt like they taste.
So with eyes closed and mouth opened (some of time) we explored tastes. We used salt, icing sugar, cinnamon, sweet chilli sauce and tomato sauce; there was definitely some funny faces!
