Celebrating 10 years of Taupo Community Gardens
Teachers and children from BestStart Richmond Kindy celebrate together to mark 10 years of the Taupo Community Gardens. Anja Schaar from Taupo Community Gardens and Teacher Rebecca Ingram support the children of Richmond Kindy to plant a walnut and a fig tree in the kindy’s orchard to mark the occasion. The Richmond Kindy and Community Gardens have built a special relationship over the past months which supports children’s learning about gardening, the environment, nature and contributing in the community.
