Celebrating Diwali at BestStart Everglade Babies

Last month we celebrated Diwali, The Festival of Lights, at BestStart Everglade Babies.  Diwali in Hindi means a row of diyas (lamps) and in India all of the streets are decorated with the lamps and lights on the day of Diwali.

Our tamariki and their families enjoyed celebrating with arts and crafts, colourful dresses and dances, as well lots of Indian food and sweets to share.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to celebrate making it an enjoyable experience for all.
