Our tamariki have enjoyed talking about Easter eggs, where the idea of going on an egg hunt led to a few tamariki excitedly dash outside to see if the Easter Bunny had been! This experience is a wonderful insight of imagination and exploration.

Some beautiful eggs and bunnies have been painted for our wall display too, which look stunning. What would Easter be without singing and dancing to “Mrs Bunny”?

Te Whariki (the NZ Early Childhood curriculum) strand Belonging talks about children knowing they belong and have a sense of connection to others and the environment.

In true form “Children have been learning by engaging in meaningful interactions with people, places and things – a process that continues throughout their lifetimes”

What a wonderful month of celebration!

Happy Easter to you and your whanau from all of us!
