To celebrate Matariki our centre went to our local library in Botany to listen to some Matariki songs and stories. We also got to make our own headbands. Our children had so much fun getting out and about into our local community and going to the library with their friends. We also some some nice songs with the awesome librarian. We hope to go on more excursions to our local community so our children can have lots of different and fun experiences!
