Celebrating our centre whanaungatanga
Whanaungatanga = Relationship, kinship, sense of family connection – a relationship through shared experiences and working together which provides people with a sense of belonging. It develops as a result of kinship rights and obligations, which also serve to strengthen each member of the kin group.
In lockdown we celebrated our centre whanaungatanga with a music clip, reminding each whanau that we are all connected and were sharing the experience from within our bubbles. This video clip includes our whole centre whanau during lockdown (level 4). Our whanau all took time over this period to share their photos with us.
