Celebrating Plunket Week at BestStart Parklands

At BestStart Parklands we are proud to support the annual Plunket appeal week. 

We also had a wonderful parent evening where parents and whānau along with nga tamariki had the opportunity to buy a ticket to came to our disco night and enjoyed having a picnic dinner with the other families. We had a wonderful time dancing to our favourite songs and catching the bubbles while we danced. 

Nga Tamariki also had the opportunity to buy a ticket and come to our "Blue" cafe where everything we served for morning kai was blue. We enjoyed eating our blue cake, biscuits and drinking blue water out of our special cups. It was such a fantastic morning.

The week before parents, whānau and nga tamariki had the opportunity to vote which teacher they wanted to get slimed to support this worthy cause. Nick and Sarah were the lucky two! Nga tamariki and the other kaiako had a wonderful time tipping the slime all over Sarah and Nick. 

We are so proud of raising $182 for Plunket during their annual appeal week!
