Connecting during lockdown
Even though we are in self isolation it is important to us to keep connected with our children and families - indeed whanau connections and support are a key aspect of our Philosophy at BestStart Richmond Kindy. To celebrate Easter we held a 'Virtual Easter Event' where we shared ideas for lots of fun Easter learning such as craft, cooking and Easter Egg hunts. We were so impressed as our parents and children got really involved and shared lots of photos back with us of how they celebrated Easter. During these uncertain times children continue to feel a sense of connectedness with their kindy and maintain relationships with their teachers and friends through online learning experiences.
