Cooking some delicious, nutritious kai
Both the Harakeke and Toetoe rooms looked at how important it is for us to look after our hauora (wellbeing) as we talked about some of the yummy vegetables that are used when making a nutritious Maori kai. Our older children helped prepare these vegetables as they peeled potatoes, kumara and corn. Our babies got creative and painted with sponge vegetables then got to try some of the cooked vegies later. Ka Pai tamariki.
