Cultural Day at BestStart Richmond Road
We had a centre event, Cultural Day, at BestStart Richmond Road!
Teachers and children shared the rituals and traditions of their cultures. The beautiful outfits representing their cultures were worn by children and teachers.
What an amazing learning experience for all of us!
We read books from different countries and made Indian bread (puri), shared French Breads, Croissants and Spinach Roti, made by our cook, which enabled the children to explore the tastes of food from different countries. Don’t mention, showing our special outfits at show time was the highlight of the day!
We have the following cultures of the countries in the centre.
Spain, Argentina, Fiji, England, India, China, Italy, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Vietnam, Filipin, Tonga, France, Cambodia, Tahiti, Maori, Island
The children are exposed to such a culturally rich environment here at Best Start Richmond Road! How lucky we are to have children and teachers from all around the world!
