Diwali celebration at BestStart Kauri Flats
To celebrate Diwali this month, our tamariki participated in a variety of fun filled activities including Rangoli artwork, Cooking sessions with a helping hand from a parent, Henna patterns, Music and Dance sessions on Hindi and Punjabi songs and of course, a beautiful dress up day!
At Best Start Kauri Flats, we affirm and celebrate cultural differences, and aim to help children gain a positive awareness of their own and other cultures. It helps children to weave their perspectives, values, cultures, and languages into the early learning setting. We would love to share a few of the very special pictures taken throughout the week!
