Drumming with the Pros
What an exciting day we had at BestStart Palmerston North, with the Kodama Japanese drum team from the International Pacific University (IPU) coming to share their drumming skills as part of our extension of children's music skills.
This was such an interactive experience with the children getting the opportunity to explore the drums and the flute firsthand. We noticed that many of our children who normally would watch from afar were confidently at the front getting involved which was exciting to see. A great time had by all, along with an exciting way to extend children's curiosity and creativity through music and seeing what our community has to offer and inspire our young minds of today.
