This week, we had a very special visit from our local heroes—the Te Awamutu Fire Brigade!
The children were thrilled to see the big red fire truck pull into our preschool. With eyes wide and questions ready, they gathered around as the firefighters talked about their important role in keeping our community safe.
The brigade showed the children their protective gear, equipment, and even let them climb aboard the fire truck for a closer look! This interactive experience was not only fun but also a valuable part of our learning programme. The visit helped the children understand fire safety in a friendly, age-appropriate way and inspired imaginative play long after the truck had gone.
