Experiencing Volcano Making
Kaiako Sandra has continued her amazing experience of volcano making. The tamariki that had completed their volcanoes had the opportunity to act as “the experts”. They developed their tuakana skills by helping others. This experience develops the children's working theories, fine motor skills, patience and learning about the world around them through conversation, sharing ideas and listening to others.
