Exploring patterns and shapes
There has been a significant and sustained interest in being creative and expressive in varied ways at BestStart Omahu Rd. In observing the children actively exploring their learning environment, it has been wonderful to see children engaging in different mediums of arts and crafts, dramatic play, puzzles, writing and drawing, with an evident interest in shape formations and creation of patterns with the pattern blocks and boards, along with the geometric shape puzzle. It has been awesome to see how these indoor learning moments, have also been transferring to the learning happening outside as the children show interest in creating different formations with the mats outside.
