Fire Safety and Transport

At EduKids Montel Ave, we actively take part in the “Get out, Stay out” programme for preschool children that has been specifically designed to educate our children about fire safety and surviving a fire in the home setting.  

Right now our preschool children have shown a big interest in transportation, and having the local fire department visit us was a great extension of this, while also continuing our children’s fire safety learning journey.  

The fantastic crew talked with our children about fire safety and showed them some of the special gear that they use when fighting fires.  We also practiced what to do when the smoke alarm goes off.  After this, everyone got to go outside to explore the fire engine, both inside and out!  

The children loved this hands on experience!
