The tamariki in the Ruma Tuatara (Preschool) experienced baking bread. There was lots of opportunities for sensory, math, language, and science experience. The children observed changing properties from dry to wet, from dough to bread through the baking process.

It was an amazing experience for the tamariki baking their own bread for afternoon tea.
