Fun and Learning at Alert Level 3
During the recent lockdown the weather was wet and gloomy on many of the days.
The children and teachers at Kowhai did not let that stop them from getting physical. We made an indoor obstacle course and the children had great fun testing their balance and agility. The parachute with music engaged the children's listening skills with them responding to the rhythm and beat of the music.
These learning opportunities encourage children to develop an awareness of their bodies, to take risks and achieve the little goals they set themselves.
