We love gardening at ABC Howick and now we have started reaping our harvest. Children harvested the carrots with huge excitement and eagerness, they couldn’t wait to check out the size! Watering the vegetables and flowers and taking care of them has become a part of their daily routine. This real time experience is also a learning towards HEALTHY EATING habits. They were rewarded for their hard work, patience and participation with an opportunity to experience picking vegetables, cooking and enjoying them for lunch! At ABC Howick “learning by doing” is taking place in the true form.
