Halloween fun at BestStart Papanui
This year at BestStart Papanui we celebrated Halloween in our centre. It's so nice being able to celebrate events in our centre within our community and in the wider world.
The children absolutely loved creating their own pumpkin face masks, using their fine motor and eye-hand co-ordination skills, and then playing chase with them on, having so much fun.
We made slime and put spiders and bats in it, for the children to explore, the children really enjoyed the different textures, using their creative skills to come up with wee stories of what the spider and bat were doing in the slime.
This was a great day of exploring and learning all in one.
