Happy Chinese New Year to you all. It is the year of the Rat which is auspicious for all new beginnings. It is a time to turn over a new leaf and take a fresh look at the world around us. We had so much fun learning about Chinese New Year through making our lanterns, paper crafts, story telling creating kai (dumplings) and eating these together. What a wonderful way to celebrate the Year of the Rat - New beginnings.
