The tamariki were standing on the box. I then asked "what colour cars can you see drive past?" So we patiently waited until cars started to drive by. The tamariki got so into it! As soon as a car drove pass they would each say the colour. This experience was able to strengthen there oral language and knowledge of nga tae - colors. Ka pai tamariki ma!
