Our reliever teacher Inise brought her cultural Taonga (treasures) from home to show to the preschoolers. There were necklaces, musical instruments, pandu leaves fan and basket called ‘Rubu’ and tapa cloth. Children also became familiar with the traditional Fijian words for all the artifacts. They also got hands-on experience of touching and feeling these objects. Binaka Inise.
