Learning about the human body
Recently in Tamariki Maia the children have been interested in learning more about the Human Body. They have been actively investigating Human skeletons through books, puzzles, and creative activities. We have been learning the names of the different parts of their body. The children have been gaining knowledge of how many bones are in each of their hands and other parts too. This has encouraged the children to build confidence in being able to articulate their own ideas and theories around their own bodies. We have had to do some teamwork and actively listening to our peers too.
