We packed up the back packs and headed out on a walk to the Museum to learn about how the people of New Zealand came together and created our wonderful country.  We learnt about how the European and Maori shared their knowledge and built a community. This was part of our exploration of what the Treaty of Waitangi means to us. We had a wonderful time exploring the exhibits and finding out how the people of New Zealand lived before the arrival of Europeans. We talked about how we all belong here, we share the land, water and other natural resources.
