Learning and sharing in lockdown
To connect with our Community Kindy Mount families over lockdown we have been engaging in ‘BestStart at Home’ As a centre it’s important that we continue to support each child’s individual learning journey and stay well connected with their families. All our teachers have been initiating daily mattime experiences and doing an activity for the day which we encourage children to get involved with. The children and their families have been sending us many photos of their lock down experiences and we can keep the conversation moving by discussing their photos with them. We have been able to connect via zoom and for our teachers this has been a great IT learning experience too! Lockdown has been a time for many to rest, reflect and recharge, but we can’t wait to see our little people and their families in person again very soon
