Lilliput Farm adventure
At BestStart Heuheu Street our current planning is around “Papatuanuku and the living world” and so for our end of year celebration we decided to go to Lilliput Farm and explore the local environment, learn about the wonderful animals and share some special moments with friends and family.
Using the local environment enables children to develop a sense of belonging to the local community. It helps them to develop a sense of place which in turn will develop their feelings of who they are and where they come from. Having friends and family join us allowed the children to share this wonderful environment with those closest to them.
