Loose parts experiments
At BestStart Grey Lynn we have begun to add loose parts to our environment to stimulate the children’s minds. Today our children have been experimenting with some large pieces of marine rope in the sunshine. They have been learning about balance as they walk along the rope and have used their imagination as they create shapes with the rope and have even used the rope to make swings. During this play, there has been a lot of continual conversation between the children about their play.
