Matariki at BestStart Omokoroa
Our whanau joined us in the community garden today for a lively performance of some waiata and a reading of the story "Together in love, a legend of Matariki' which was followed by delicious vegetable soup with garlic bread and fruit kebabs. The community spirit was felt in the atmosphere, the laughter and right down to the kai in which every family had donated a fruit or vegetable. Matariki always has a heart warming way of bringing everyone together.
