Ko Luke toku ingoa I have been working with BestStart for 15 years in both centre manager roles and now as an Area Manager. I have really enjoyed watching all the tamariki from all over Auckland learn and grow to be the most amazing little humans. I have a real passion for growing our kaiako and helping deliver the best outcomes in both education and care. I'm a real family-focused person with a love of the outdoors, adventure, and endless activity.

Kam na Mauri, My name is Rosary. I am the Centre Manager. I started my journey with Te Atatu Road in March 2022. I come from the islands of Kiribati. Respectful relationships are the core of my practice and I acknowledge our multicultural society. I have 4 children between the ages of 20 years to 20 months old. They keep me young and grounded. In my ‘me’ time, I enjoy watching true crime stories or horror movies. If I wasn’t a teacher, I think I would have ended up as a crime scene detective.

Kia ora, my name is Bex and I am the Centre Administrator here at BestStart Te Atatu Road. I have a daughter named Paris and a granddaughter named India who is 2. I have worked here at BestStart Te Atatu Road for the past 7 years and within that time, I have worked at several other BestStart centres multi-siting. Before working for BestStart we lived in Sydney where I worked in accounts, however since moving back to NZ I decided to try another career path and I am so glad that I did as working in a childcare environment is the best!

Greetings all, my name is Toatasi and go by Tasi for short. I am the Centre Cook. I started in March. I love creating delicious meals for children with my passion and expertise in baking. It is a pleasurable challenge providing meals for our children with specified dietary requirements. I enjoy creating meals that are packed with various fruits and vegetables but most importantly seeing the children enjoy the meals and also trying new tastes and textures. I love spending time with my 5-year-old son who has never-ending energy.
