Montessori Playgroup at The Hub
BestStart Montessori Rongotai, along with our sister centre BestStart Montessori Kilbirnie, hold a Montessori Playgroup every Thursday from 9:30am - 11:30am during term time. This is held at The Hub on Kilbirnie Crescent.
These sessions are designed to help parents learn more about Montessori principles and assist their child's natural growth and development.
Classes are designed for children ranging in age from new-born - 2.5 years.
The Playgroup environment is simple, ordered, clean and attractive. Children choose the Montessori materials they want to work with, and parents are encouraged to sit with their children while they explore the activities independently chosen, to foster concentration, coordination, and self-esteem.
From a very early age a child wants to do things for themselves, and our playgroup gives each child the opportunity to grow in independence and confidence, allowing them to explore and make choices in a safe environment.
It truly is a wonderful safe place to engage with your child, meet other whānau, and enjoy a nice cup of coffee in a slow-paced environment.
