On Wednesday 14th August we had a group of children from Belfast School come and join us for morning tea. Belfast School sang us songs and gifted us all the stars their classroom had made for Matariki. We had a fantastic time showing our older friends all the exciting things happening at BestStart Belfast Kindy and loved some of the Belfast School children showing off their reading skills to us linking this into our current project around Stories. This is just one example of our close relationship we have with our local Primary School.
