Nature exploration at BestStart Totara
The research around taking tamariki into nature shows many benefits: Increased confidence, motivation and concentration, increased social, physical and language skills, deeper conceptual understandings and respect for the natural environment. Increased social and imaginative play. The children explored natural resources and built themselves a hut. We are very lucky to have such amazing spaces close by to our centre.
