Meet Rozey, our newest furry friend here at Pipiwai Road.
We are so excited to introduce Rozey, the newest member of our whānau. From the moment she arrived, Rozey has brought a gentle, calming presence to our space, quickly capturing the hearts of tamariki and kaiako alike. With her soft fur, twitching nose, and curious nature, she has already become a special part of our daily rhythm.
Rozey offers wonderful opportunities for children to develop empathy, responsibility, and a deeper connection with living things. Tamariki are learning how to approach her calmly, use gentle hands, and respect her needs. These small but meaningful interactions help foster kindness and an understanding of caring for others.
We have noticed how Rozey naturally draws children in, creating moments of quiet observation, conversation, and shared joy. Whether she is nibbling on her food, hopping around her space, or simply resting peacefully, Rozey encourages tamariki to slow down and be present.
As we continue to welcome Rozey into our environment, we look forward to the many learning experiences and special moments she will bring. She is already such a treasured addition, and we cannot wait to see the connections grow with everyone.
