Justine: Justine is a qualified and registered teacher who has been at BestStart Pukuatua for 15 years. Justine is also the Head Teacher and her wealth of knowledge spans far and wide.
Justine is passionate about allowing our Tamariki to become leaders of their own learning. Justine knows that these steps, such as looking after your belongings, early language and literacy, routines and structure and understanding the basic customs of the school classroom.
Justine has very open and honest communication with whanau that allows for support with any barriers before these children are set off to school.
Kristine: Kristine is a caregiver who has been with BestStart Pukuatua for over 4 years. Kristine comes with passion in all that she does each day. Kristine understands the process that we follow to help support our children to get ready for school. The joy that Kristine brings to this space is loved by children and whanau.
Carolyn: Carolyn is a qualified and registered teacher who has been at BestStart Pukuatua for over 3 years. Carolyn has been in the Early childhood field for many years and has an absolute wealth of knowledge in many areas. Carolyn can deliver a programme that allows children to feel successful, and give whanau the chance to input into the daily programme. Carolyn also knows the importance of setting the environment for school and has a real skill at making sure this is done daily.
The team in this 4-year-old space are passionate about getting these children ready for school and is very proud to incorporate BestStart's "Set for School" Programme.
