Hi, I would like to introduce myself!
My name is Amanda.
I am the centre manager for BestStart Pukuatua and I have been in the early childhood field for over 30 years, doing roles such as a centre cook, a van driver, and a caregiver until I became a qualified and registered early childhood teacher.
I have been with BestStart for 10 years. Since I have been with BestStart, I have managed 2 other centres and now have landed here as a Centre Manager at BestStart Pukuatua. I have been here at BestStart Pukautua for 4 years now and enjoy the challenging role every day, working actively on the floor and behind the scenes.
I believe that all children should have the chance to quality early childhood education that allows them to grow, learn, understand how to be alongside each other and work together. I also believe that all team members should feel they can bring their authentic self, culture and provide their own talents to help offer our children quality learning and education.
I also believe that every person has a voice within their own journey and every voice makes up a beautiful story. Early childhood has always been a passion of mine for all ages and my door is open at any time for you to come and say hi.
