Our fun football session
Last week, our amazing teacher Edward organised for Ollie and Jake from Profile Training Group to come along and take a football session with our Prep School tamariki. It is so exciting to be able to get out and about in our community now that we are in Level 1. For this activity, we went out to the reserve for some fun Football skills.
Our tamariki listened to the instructions so well and were all engaged for the whole session. Not only was the session a fun and exciting physical activity, it provided our tamariki the opportunity to follow instructions, persevere with difficulty and work as a team. It also supported them to gain confidence and control of their bodies. We saw our tamariki engage both sides of their brain as they learnt about cross body movements, while focusing on their coordination skills.
It was such a fun morning out and we can’t wait to have Profile Training Group back again to teach us more fun Football skills!
