Our Gala Day Event 2024
On the 27th March 2024 Pipiwai Kindy had their yearly Gala. It was a great success and our whanau tamariki and members of the local community enjoyed it. We had lots of different stalls set up. Ngā tamariki had an Easter hunt followed with some Easter art. A live band was playing in the background. Teachers from our local school came to visit. They talked to the parents about the transitioning process from Kindy into primary school. We also had a wonderful masseuse at the gala, making sure our whānau were relaxed and happy.
Our wonderful people in our community donated some items for a big raffle hamper. Sals Pizza donated some big delicious pizzas for our Kaiako at Kindy. We had a special visitor, one of our whānau brought in a miniature pony and the tamariki could not wait to meet him. The family talked to the tamariki and explained to them what kinds of food he eats and how to take care of him. It was great to see so many different people supporting Pipiwai Kindy and spending some time with us at our centre. It was special to connect with our community and families on this wonderful day. We are looking forward to our next Gala event.
