Our special visitors via NZ Post!
Every day the Prep School tamariki wave to the NZ Post truck as it drives past our playground and the drivers wave back and toot the horn. This is a beautiful relationship that has been developed by our friendly, excited tamariki and the lovely people at NZ Post. So today they asked if they could bring the truck to visit the whole centre with some very special visitors... Santa and his elf! Our tamariki were so excited to have the truck that drives past everyday in our car park and they were even more excited when the saw who jumped out of the truck!
Santa and his elf wished us all a very Merry Christmas and brought some treats to share. They also told us that it makes the truck drivers day everyday when our tamariki stand at the fence ready to wave and yell out a big hello!
What a fantastic morning it was and such a wonderful way to make another strong connection to people and places in our community, something the we are so passionate about here at BestStart Burnside.
