Over the last couple of weeks here in the Nursery at BestStart Marshland Road we've been reviewing our environments that we provide for our tamariki (children). One area that we've spruced up is our nature area. We provided some new exciting pictures of various animals and weather and some new natural resources. The children have loved investigating this area and exploring the different items available. Children who become engaged in this area are able to learn more about the natural world around them as well as developing their communication skills through meaningful conversations with the kaiako (teachers). This also relates to our group interest of exploration! Tino pai tamariki!
