Last week we were so lucky to be able to go to Fendalton School and visit Margaret’s new entrant classroom! We all got ready and put on our hats and vests and ventured off on our big walk, holding our friends and teachers hands.

When we arrived at school we signed in at the office and then went to Margaret’s classroom, Room 14. Margaret and the children welcomed us and we got to explore the classroom and play with anything we wanted.

We explored Duplo, the train tracks, playdough, writing on whiteboards, the toolbox and a fun magnetic fishing game! After almost an hour in the classroom Margaret took us to the playground so we could play and explore before all of the other bigger children had their morning tea, we were so lucky to have the equipment all to ourselves!

We challenged ourselves on some pretty high and pretty tricky playground equipment and then it was time for a snack! We knew we had a long walk ahead of ourselves so we sat under the trees and had a big drink of water, some crackers and lots of fruit before heading on our way back to enjoy our lunch at preschool.

On the walk back we decided to collect some acorns and chestnuts to wash and add to our natural resources at preschool and everyone worked together to collect lots to take back to share with all of the other preschool children.

We had so much fun on our trip and can't wait to go back again later in the year! All of the children behaved beautifully and made us so proud!
