This week, the Pīwakawaka (nursery room ages 0-2) went for a hikoi (walk) around the block to the local playground!
The tamariki (children) were super excited when we arrived at the playground and were ready to start exploring.
They tested out how fast they could fly down the slides, how high they could climb on the platforms and how fast they could oma (run) around the playground.
This was a great chance to get out in the community and explore a playground that most of the tamariki go to with their whānau. Look how confident the tamariki were!
