As part of our support for the Plunket Appeal, we held an Art Auction in our centre. Children came dressed in blue, took part in a variety of activities to raise money for Plunket.  A huge thank you to our BestStart Newmarket whanau who participated in our online auction via StoryPark and supported our Children’s Art Exhibition and Auction for Plunket Appeal. To our children who did a fantastic job working on their masterpieces and group art during this special week, ka pai!!! They all displayed their imagination and creativity in making individual art pieces and three group artworks. The smiles of confidence and pride said it all as the children and teachers displayed their artwork. 

We had such a fun week supporting Plunket, a valued community service, and we look forward to doing it all again next year.These activities help our kids to develop social-emotional skills like kindness, empathy, and compassion. We are very proud to support Plunket's mission every year to ensure New Zealand children are among the healthiest in the world and children at BestStart Newmarket were very happy to be involved in this meaningful activity and had a great time.
