Rainbow milk for our preschool

Today to support some of our children's interest of learning about the world around them Caitlyn chose to provide them and their peers with a science experiment, Rainbow Milk. She got out some (Blue top) milk and got one of the children to help her tip it into a shallow dish. She then supported the children to add different colors of food coloring before she added the last ingredient of dish washing liquid. The children watched in amazement as the colors all mixed and spread around the milk. They then talked about the different colors they were making and the reaction the milk was having with the dye. It was wonderful to see the tamariki so engaged in this experience and showing a desire to participate in this activity. Great work Tamariki ma!
