Reuben the Bear visits BestStart Claudelands!
Nga tamariki were so excited to see Reuben the Bear (also known as RÅ«pene te Pea Haumaru Huarahi) and his friends come and visit the centre today. He talked about how to stay safe when crossing roads, to always use helmets when riding bikes and scooters, and most importantly to make your seatbelt click when riding in the car.
We learned,
To make sure our helmets are right and tight (he potae tau-he potae mau). To wear your helmet every time to ride your bike or scooter (me matua mau to potae pahikara i ia haerenga).
