The city council are fixing the footpath outside the Montessori preschool and the children have front row seats. We watched the excavator remove the old concrete and then watched the concrete mixer pour new concrete. 

Our Centre Manager Rachel bought in some new construction vehicles and filled the water trough up with wheat. We had a great time reconstructing what we had seen. Even better, we watched the people work for several days and we were able to talk to them about what they do. It's great being in a small centre that is a converted house, we can really get to know the people in our community.
