They give him breakfast and watch as he hops around the playground. For some of the Tamariki who aren't mobile yet, this has encouraged them to crawl and follow him around. They are learning to be gentle with animals and how to take care of him. Ryder has also allowed the older children to role model being gentle with him and supports one our values of Tuakana-Teina relationships, Manaakitanga, Kotahitanga and Wakainga
