Samoan language week at Montessori St Albans!
This week the tamariki have enjoyed learning about Samoa.
It has been extra special to celebrate this week at preschool, as some of our families are from Samoa.
The children have enjoyed learning about the Samoan flag, they even constructed their own flag! They were very proud of their masterpiece. They used lots of creative skills such as colouring, cutting and using cellotape too.
The tamariki have also enjoyed listening to traditional Samoan music and practicing some Sasa dance moves too! The tamariki always enjoy learning about other cultures, as do the kaiako too
