Simple Science
This month the nursery children have been exploring some simple science experiments. They have been using eye droppers and scoops to add vinegar and baking soda to our test tubes, and watching with anticipation and excitement as the mixture bubbles up the tubes and erupts into the sand! We have also been exploring different chemical reactions that make the same result- baking soda, citric acid and water, and experimenting with a combination of the different ingredients to find what works and what doesn’t. The children have loved being able to be hands-on during our science sessions!
