We celebrated Grandparents Day, by having our lovely children’s Grandparents join us at our centre. It was such a lovely day having our children’s grandparents join us at the centre and take part in their mokopuna’s learning.

We had some wonderful activities set out for our children and grandparents to take part in and enjoy. We had some hand painting, rock painting and also cupcake decorating for our grandparents to do together with their mokopuna.

It was lovely having during this time and seeing the joy in the children’s faces.

We are promoting more family/whanau involvement in the centre and this was a great way of having our grandparents input in their mokopuna’s learning journey.

We also remembered those grandparents who could not join us and those who had passed on.
